No Season 2 for the design competition series.

It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Next in Fashion after just one season. The sad news comes four months after the competition series released its 10-episode debut run.
Hosted by Tan France and Alexa Chung, the show features 18 talented, up-and-coming designers from across the globe pushing their skills and creativity to the limit, competing for a $250,000 grand prize and to become the next big name in fashion.

No surprise here. Everything was really forced and awkward. Also watched Heidi and Tim's Making The Cut, it was better but I doubt a second season is coming. Project Runway still takes the crown for me. Christian Siriano fits the role perfectly; Nina Garcia is all the judge you need; and the others are forgettable.

I enjoyed the show but I would have liked it more if it would have been next in real life fashion. Cause the 1st season's winner designed clothes that would only be worn on a runway. No real people would ever wear those shapeless garbage bag like clothes.
