The dating series gets two seasons on the streaming service.

Peacock announced today that Love Island has been picked up for Seasons 4 & 5. The renewal will see the dating series move to the streaming service from original network CBS, where it aired its first three seasons.
Season 4 should premiere on Peacock sometime this summer, with episodes planned to air multiple times a week in real time. A total of 80 episodes have been ordered for both seasons, which should result in 40 apiece. It is not clear yet whether host Arielle Vandenberg or narrator Matt Hoffman will make the move to Peacock.
Based on the British smash hit, Love Island brings a group of single "Islanders" together in a picturesque villa as they look for love. During their summer of romance, the Islanders pair up when they have a connection and can be voted off when they don't. New singles periodically arrive to stir things up, and viewers can participate by voting on certain events using an app. Eventually one lucky couple is crowned the winner with the chance to take home a cash prize - and possibly love.
