A thriller following a Marine who is recruited by the CIA to befriend the daughter of a terrorist group.
Joe is a young Marine who is trying to balance her personal life with her professional life as the tip of the CIA's spear in the war on terror. The Lioness Program enlists an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz to operate undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism in the agency's efforts to bring down the organization from within before the next 9/11 can occur.

Absolutely no "woke crap" in this show. The ending of the season felt a little lack luster, but a lot happened throughout the season. Looking forward to season 2.

9/3/23. I've just watched the 1-hour finale and it was ok, with the story-line frustrating, to say the least, with various Government "leaders" now wanting to pull-out and cancel the mission.
Perhaps a S2 might come along. We'll see.

I'm not seeing any "woke crap", btw.
I'm watching Ep.7 right now and wondering how it might wrap up by Ep.8; perhaps it'll need a 2-hour finale (just guessing).
It's particularly interesting to me to see Stephanie Nur, who I'd only previously & briefly seen or heard of as a bar-gal in 1883.
Unless something else comes out this year (whether, Yellowstone, 1923, Tulsa King, or Mayor of Kingstown in 2023) from Taylor Sheridan or Paramount+, this might be my favorite for the year.
