The struggling sitcom will be replaced on Thursdays beginning April 14.

NBC has announced that its new series "The Paul Reiser Show" will replace the low-rated sitcom "Perfect Couples" in the Thursday 8:30pm timeslot beginning next month on April 14.
"Perfect Couples" has struggled in the ratings since debuting in January of this year. Through its first eight episodes the show has averaged a measly 1.5 in adults 18-49, with its most recent airing on March 17 falling to a series low 1.2. It was likely that last number that made NBC pull the trigger on replacing the show.
There has been no official word from the network on the future of "Perfect Couples", but at this point a return would be a long shot.
