Lifetime is bringing back the military drama for another season.

Lifetime has announced that Army Wives will return for a sixth season consisting of 13 episodes. The news comes as no surprise considering the show's fifth season is averaging 3.7 million weekly viewers and is cable's number one drama in the women 18-49 demographic.
Army Wives follows the trials and tribulations, friendships, and dreams of a group of women and one man living with their spouses and families on an active Army post. The show is currently airing new episodes Sundays on Lifetime and has five episodes left in its fifth season.

Army wives is one of a kind show! No other program shows what it is like to be a family in the military, the strong bond between women, the dedication of the men to their country and the sacrifices the children of military families also make. It sure looks like they are preparing to end the show by tying up the story lines of each family. There is so few good family shows on, this has to be a keeper! Please don't take our show away....

can u please tell me if army wives is going to be renewed for another season i hope so i have watched this show since the beginning i would hate for this show to go off the air it is such a great show to watch so please lifetime don't cancel army wives let there be a couple more seasons of army wives.

I rarely ever watch any of the new television out there, but this program I look forward to every week. I have watched this program from the very beginning and I have even got my husband to watch it with me. Please tell me there will be a 2013 season

Please tell me there will be a 2013 season of army wives. I haven't found a program that I look forward to like I do this one in a very long time. In this day and age of reality t.v. and violence and sexual inuendo it is nice to have a show like this that you wouldn't be afraid to have your child sit down and watch with you.

I set aside time every week for this show. Gives me something to look forward to, when they approved season six so quickly after 5, guess that now makes it just a summer series?

My family & I love the show! My father was in the military and we really relate to it! We love the characters and laugh and cry with them! Please do NOT cancel the show! It is one of the few shows that is a family show that draws us together as a family.

I absolutely love this show! Very disppointed that season 5 and now season 6 are only including 13 episodes. Does anyone know why they cut the season shorter when the ratings are high??

is it just me, or does "Claudia Joy" look really sick? I was shocked at her appearance in the new season. She looks anorexic and like she has aged 10 years since last season - or - some really good makeup and acting the part!????

I used to love Army Wives, but when they killed Jeremy, That broke my heart and I've not watched it since.
