The behavioral specialist drama will not return next season.
May 10, 2011
Fox has cancelled Lie to Me as part of a barrage of bubble show cancellations late Tuesday. Also axed were Human Target, The Chicago Code, Breaking In, and Traffic Light.
Lie to Me - which follows behavioral specialists aiding clients in lie detection - ends after three seasons on the air. The series premiered in early 2009 as a mid-season replacement airing 13 episodes. It was successful enough during its freshman run to secure a full 22-episode second season and subsequent renewal for a third.
Season 3 of the show, however, was back down to 13 episodes - wrapping up earlier this year with what turned out to be its series finale on January 31.

I watched the show when it was on and now again J2022 and I am still angry that the show was canceled.
Every time something a bit different comes on some idiot takes it off the air. I don't watch the jokes they call reality TV.
So now I stream foreign shows or read books. I am afraid to watch much TV because I know they will replace any good idea with trash.
I am still holding a grudge that Slap Maxwell was canceled and that was decades ago.

It's getting to the point I've almost stopped watching tv altogether. Just around the time I get attached/addicted to the characters, plots and storylines, some jackass with absolutely no taste or clue about what people actually want to watch, suddenly decides he/she know what we want more than we do based on the amount of money being tossed about and sudden BAM!!!!! Some new jack all show appears in its place. So over it.

think of it this way. Usa wont permit to any show that displays the events where most politicians lie to their people ! people get to actually learn how to read the deceits which honestly the government would never want their lies to go uncovered. they always want to lie to their people without getting uncovered!

I have to agree, for some reason shows worth watching gets cancelled. Turn on the TV and believe me the choices are appalling. I suppose the majority of people enjoy extreme violence etc. Lie to me was different, enjoyed the straight approach of Dr Lightman (Tim Roth). Please consider bringing it back.
