NBC announced today that freshman summer series Love in the Wild has been renewed for a second season. The dating reality show, which sees contestants searching for love in a tropical paradise while competing in adventure challenges, ran this past summer from June through August.
Ratings-wise, Love in the Wild averaged a respectable 1.8 among adults 18-49 over its eight episodes. In its time slot, the show finished either first or tied for first in all but one airing, which was clearly enough for the network to bring it back next summer.
