The comedy has been renewed for 13 last episodes.

NBC has renewed its long-running comedy 30 Rock for Season 7, which will also be the show's last. The network has ordered 13 more episodes to conclude the series.
While dropping ratings may have factored into the decision - this season's numbers have been about 60% lower than last - it was likely that cast members are wanting to move on from the show and leave on a high note. In April of last year, co-star Alec Baldwin told New York Magazine's Vulture Blog that the show was ending this year, but now it appears that one final season has been agreed upon by all parties.

The rating dropped from this show because it took so long for Season 6 to even air. I do not know what other outcome someone would expect from airing the shows season premiere late in the season.

One of the funniest shows on TV. Tina Fey's humor is great. Some is quite subtle, some over-the-top, but the show is groundbreaking in its content. Sorry to see it go.

Stopped watching last season. No longer funny--just weirdly strange. Pls get back to humor for the last season
