The Friday night drama will not return for another season.
May 10, 2012
CBS has cancelled freshman drama A Gifted Man, according to Variety. The show was on the air for a full season of 16 episodes, but its modest ratings clearly were not high enough for the network to consider bringing the show back next season.

Very disappointing decision. I agree with all these comments. Too bad you could not see your way clear to consider all of your audience instead of just some of your audience. Too bad you couldn't figure out a way to bring a show back that touches people in a good and decent way and instead continue to renew the crap that remains on TV. Very sad to see this show go!

What a stupid decision - with 9 1/2 million + average in viewership - why not figure out how to build on a good show instead of cancel for some reality crap. At least sell it to cable so intelligent viewers don't have to constantly turn to British TV for entertainment!
