The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

Really, I agree 100 percent with the person who said why not cancel the bachelor or the bachelorette? You finally hit the mark with a fabulous show with non-stop action and you cancel it? Who in the world are you talking to? I literally sat on the edge of my couch! I hope its not too late to find Ashley - who got taken at the end of the season!

WHAT? This was #1 in my watch list. Now I have finished watching all my list. I went back to #1 and checked when this would be continued and this is what I get? Come on!

You have to be kidding me. Missing cancelled. My mom and I watched it every week and discussed all that happened. The ending was one of the best in tv. Bring it back!!!!! Get rid of The Bachelor and Bachelorette. No ones vet gets married. I have stopped watching it for last few seasons. Put some real tv shows on instead of all the shows that you have to bleep every second word out. Missing was great.

MISSING cancelled? seriously?? OMG a great change to watch an actual TV show other than damn reality shows, come on people in television land listen to the real people that watch and bring it back!!!

I can not believe that they cancelled this series .... it was great and the way that the final episode ended ... i mean come on really?!!!!!!!!!!! this sucks !!!!! first they cancell CSI MIAMI on channel 4 and now they cancel this ... u got to be kiding me .... so upset !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely LOVED that show "Missing!!!!!!!" What were they thinking cancelling that show!! Maybe that's it, they weren't thinking!!!! I planned my schedule around that show every week looking forward to the next episode. My hopes are that another network will pick up the show and I can look forward to watching it again every week.

I think it is ridiculous to cancel the show "Missing." Everyone I know really looked forward every week to watching it. They've had some really stupid, obnoxious, and nasty shows on t.v. and they cancel "Missing!" So I cancelled my cable and said "heck with it!" I'm not settling for the show that the network replaces "Missing" with.

I don't understand why this show would be cancelled. It was the best thing on TV in a long time. I wish they would reconsider. My only criticism is that i thought the script/actors were fantastic, but the filming itself seemed to be a bit low budget. The special effects seemed pretty shoddy

Please do bring the show back, it was the only show on tv that is worth watching these days. Pretty pleassseee :-)
