The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

I really like the show Missing. I hope that they decide to BRING IT BACK. I hope it isn't replaced by another stupid reality show....

Amazing! It is hard to believe that you would cancel Missing and keep shows like Cougar Town and Bachelorette. Missing is wonderful, the writers have done an excellent job keeping us wandering "what next?" I realy hope you reconsider instead of running scared after the first season...please give SOMETHING worth our time a chance.

Why is this show being cancelled? Are we being punked or what? This is a great show. I can't stomach much of the absolute junk on TV, but I watched every episode and I was looking forward to many more seasons. ABC really needs to rethink this one; you're MISSING something!

So another good show gone , probably going to fill with a cheap reality show missing was a good show i think they missed the boat, same with human target, sanctuary , a bunch of others maybe they get the ratings from wrong source. SUCKS

I can't believe you guys cancelled this show. This was one of the best shows on TV in years. I think this show needs a new time slot. Sorry but some of the newer shows you have is far from interesting. I think you guys show reconsider this move. If there is a petition going I will be happy to sign it. Please bring one of my favorite shows back.

They should have never cancelled "MISSING." The best show of the season. Why didn't they try putting it on a different night where new programing is weak. Monday night is a tough night. Too many shows fighting for ratings. Give Missing another chance. You will be doing the right thing.

This show was something both my parents and I watched together and we never agree on the same thing. I liked this show far better than Scandal even! This is a HUGE mistake. I can't believe it! ABC should definitely reconsider. I have heard nothing but outrage over this decision. With all the other crap out there, this was definitely not the show to cancel, especially ending with a cliffhanger like they did!
