The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

My husband and I looked forward to this show every week. We like the cast, the storyline and the action. As others have expressed, reality shows are contributing to the dumbing down of Americans. If this keeps up, we'll just cancel television altogether.

Guess I don't understand the ratings any longer... with DVD players, VOD, etc... who has time to sit through all of those commercials. I would rather tape it and fast forward. I really liked this show and ABC has again cancelled another good show. Get rid of those reality shows!

Can't believe you are canceling this fantastic show. It's the best new show I've watched in years. Can't believe you keep all the stupid reality shows and cancel a show that at least had some good substance and acting.

Such a terrible shame that ABC is canceling the BEST suspenseful drama on any of the major networks. This was one show that we looked forward to watching each week! Perhaps it's ABC's fault for not promoting it more after it premiered? Ashley Judd's acting was some of the best I've seen on TV in recent years. Come on, ABC... find a place for it mid-year!

How could you end this show ABC , it's an office hit. We all gather round to discuss what's going to happen next week. Ashley Judd and supporting cast are GREAT. We are excited to watch Thursday night TV on ABC Missing, Grey's and the Scandal..... GREAT SHOWS
