The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

Missing is a great show! From the very first episode, I was hooked. ABC may want to rethink its advertising of the show and its use as a midseason replacement rather a Fall Premiere. I hope that another network picks it up.

Such a quality show, riveting to watch, superbly acted, such a bummer. Judd delivers some of her best work, and that's saying a lot. Terrible they didn't renew.

Missing is such a wonderful show. It should never have been cancelled. This show really holds your interest and Ashley Judd is a great actress. This show needs to be back on the air.

This is the best show on T.V. Ashley Judd is great in this show. It is such an exciting show to watch with great scenery! Such a MISTAKE to cancel this show.

I am so disappointed by this news, this was a well written show that kept you on edge each week the script was excellant and so was the cast. This is a sad day, you keep the junk but throw away the jewel.

Please don't cancel this show. It is the most exciting regularly aired show that I look forward to seeing. Thursday night is the best night out of the entire week. It starts with Missing, Grey's Anatomy and Scandal. You are crazy to cancel this show!

This was the best show ever. The only show I watched that really made my eyes glued to the tv for an hour. The cast are awesome. I just don't get why they are cancelling Missing...why not the other shows that really doesn't have a storyline like missing does. I wish amother Network would take on the show.

Why is ABC canceling my absolutely favorite new show missing? iT is so exciting to watch. I Could hardly wait for each new episode to see what would happen next! Now you leave us hanging about what happens to michael's mom becka ? makes no sense at all. please bring back this fabulous show. Bravo to the the entire cast of Missing!

It's so disappointing when a well scripted, intelligent show like this gets canceled while other brainless shows go on for years. The cast was terrific, the locations were amazing and I was so grateful to be able to watch a show that didn't insult my intelligence. I suppose the production costs were too high for it's limited audience but I am really sad to see this go.
