The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

Unbelievable!!!!! Why would you cancel such a great show????? The scenery, plot, and acting were wonderful! I love the action and suspense. I was a huge 24 fan and this show had the same great elements........what a shame that you are canceling it. It was one of only a few shows I even watch. Boo to you ABC!!!!!

I can't believe you're cancelling Missing!! This show was in the same category as a big screen motion picture. And you keep those silly reality tv shows?? I, for one, would rather be entertained by professionals (and Ashley Judd is definitely a professional). Unbelievable. The more you guys do this the less I want to watch ABC.

I agree with all of the above. MISSING started later when it was launched. The story line, and the charchters were great. Please reconsider giving MISSING life again.....

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't cancel Missing!!! Ashley is one of the best actresses onscreen today, and the show is amazing! Give it another chance and advertise it more so people know what it is about!!!

I really loved missing and it shouldnt cancel it.Im gonna quit watching abc showa if you dont quit cancelling.

I am totally pissed! This was my new 24! I didn't watch 24 until season 5. When I went back I didn't like season one until the last 12 shows. You didn't give Missing a full season. I hope you reconsider or maybe some other network will pick it up!!!!

How can a show be cancelled when it provides non stop action. Had me sitting on the edge of my seat from beginning to end!!

Wow. Someone finally gets a show that might be on the same playing field as fox's 24 and you throw it away. I didn't watch the first 2 seasons of 24 only to finally watch what the hype was about and realize it was the best show I've ever watched. Missing should get a 2nd season. Bad move. Actually, I wish there was an option for another network to pick up Missing and it becomes a huge success.

I swore I would never watch a new series until the second season after Flashfoward was canceled with no wrap up to any unanswered questions. Of course I got stupid this season and got involved in Missing. At least they resolved a lot in the final episode and left you only hanging about what happened to Ashley Judd.
