The CW announced today that freshman docu-series Breaking Pointe has been renewed for a second season. In the series, cameras take viewers behind the curtain at Ballet West in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a look into the intensely competitive world of ballet.

No Season 2 premiere date has been announced at this time, but a summer 2013 return is expected.
