The CW has cancelled Cult, pulling the freshman drama from its schedule after seven episodes. The series premiered back in February to low ratings on Tuesday nights, where it aired only two episodes before being moved to Fridays, where its viewership sank even lower.
There is no word on whether the rest of the show's six already-filmed episodes will air. The CW will broadcast reruns of The Carrie Diaries and Oh Sit in its time slot for the time being.

The Following is a much better show...go watch it :) This show was SO hard to follow, and there were so many things that were just left unexplained. I already stopped watching about ep 4...too irritating

I guess there were not enough true beleibers now we will have to watch the ann frank I mean carrie diaries in its place looks like another network gets our time slot bummer CW XOXO

It was slow...but the last two episodes were really good. We like it and now it's cancelled....Least they could do is finish off the rest that they already taped....They are ending it at a really good time in the series. Like they did with "V"

Cancel NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to know who Steven Rae is. This show Rocks. People nowadays are so consume in these stupid reality show or zombie and vampire crap(excluding The walking dead I love that show). That they can't appreciate a good simple tv drama show. Please don't cancel Cult. Also bring back Heroes Robert Knepper is awesome.

I'm in Canada and I dont know if the USA considers canadian ratings but I loved Cult. It always left you on your toes. Great plot, great cast, lots of twists. It actually gave me goosebumps. I really do hope they bring it back!

Seriously... a TV show on the CW about a TV show on the CW which used direct commentary of viewers as the basis of the show..... If ANYONE expected this thing to last you were kidding yourself.

@Jimmy: The CW is not garbage it just has trouble airing good shows. As for Cult being canceled I am not suprised. I had trouble following the premiere episode and stopped watching. It was weird and hard to understand. Because of that I stopped watching it halfway through
