NBC axes the series after two episodes.
April 19, 2013
NBC has cancelled new series Ready for Love after two episodes. The dating reality show, which is produced by Eva Longoria, premiered on April 9 to low ratings and fell even lower in its second week. The poor viewership caused the network to pull the show from its schedule effective immediately.
In its time slot, NBC will air episodes of Grimm until May 21. It is unclear whether any additional, already-produced episodes of Ready for Love will air.

is it any wonder that network tv is dying by putting crap like this on tv no wonder cable programing is beating the networks

Very true, Dave. I noticed it came on tonight and I was like WTF? NBC change their mind or something? Seriously, TV is so confusing now. Cancellations, pre-emptions, lineup shuffling, mid season finales, long hiatuses (Revolution), I'm getting SO frustrated.

I am soooo GLAD they CANCELLED that PIECE of $#*+ show! NBC RAVED how this new SENSATIONAL show was going to change the way people fall in love!
ABC cancelled Zero Hour after only 2 or 3 episodes and NEVER promoted it with all the glam & senation that they package a STUPID reality with!
The next GOOD news I CAN'T wait to hear is that the bachelor/ette is being CANCELLED!

This report is totally false. The show is still on and scheduled to air tomorrow (Tue) night like usual.

This is something I forgot to mention before! Why do you change some shows around so much? The viewers may not know where they are, so of course you then say it had low ratings! Take SMASH for instance, why couldn't you leave it on Tuesday, where it was, instead of Sat. when very few people might not even be home! Instead you put another reality show on, and canceled it after 2 shows! Never watched it, or the other one so similar to it! You change shows around so much, that the cable guide can't keep up with you! I can't go past a week to ck and see if there is something on that I may want to tape or watch...

I try to watch a scripted show with real actors....and it gets a quick AXE. So I sigh and resign myself to reality stuff like this. It's cheap to produce and networks seem to love it. So I start watching this show and it gets the axe after 2 episodes. So from now on, I will let an entire season of a show build up on my DVR before I even attempt to watch it. This is what it's come to.

How about moving SMASH back into this slot (where it belongs) to see if it's ratings improve before dumping a decent scripted show for more reality dating trash.
