ABC Family has cancelled Bunheads after one season. The freshman dramedy premiered in the summer of 2012 and aired a total of 18 episodes, but its ratings ultimately fell short of what was needed for a second-season pickup.

I don't understand this so-called family network. Alienating its fans and cancelling shows like Bunheads
(and Huge, Jane by Design) to keep on teenage junk and reality shows. Like it or not, Bunheads was one of the most critically acclaimed shows on ABC Family.

I am heartbroken. You have cancelled a show that had a truly talented cast, clever stories and dialogue, and was a joy to watch. Please, reconsider your decision. This show deserve another chance.

It's a shame that more people didn't give this show a chance. With consistently clever dialogue and the best and most endearing performance on television by Sutton Foster, this was a show that deserved to come back.

good lord! first huge...then the lying game...and now this! i can't take it anymore! once pretty little liars ends i'm not sure i'm going to watch abc family again!
