BBC America's original drama will not return.
September 19, 2013
BBC America has decided to cancel Copper after two seasons on the air. The period drama was the cable network's first original scripted drama, but ultimately failed to attract a large enough audience in its second season.

bub- STFU and you get a purpose! Keep your dumb unwanted opinions about how others react to the fate of their fave shows. If you didn't like Copper, then comment on that!
BBC- Copper was AMAZING! Pls bring it back! :)

You cancel Copper and leave the Graham Norton Show on the air? So much for the POV that Brits have more taste than Americans. Copper was fantastic. Instead we get Daleks and Nortons.

I am very disappointed that you cancelled Copper with all the crap that is shown on TV today. It was one of my favorite shows. Jump back from that reality crap and come back to the drama's that used to be. I'm so sick of networks cancelling good shows and putting on dance till your dead or my favorite reality superstar
that has no talent whatsoever. If this is what a younger generation is watching today, I feel very sorry for this country. Were going to be in a lot trouble. Just Saying

If I had the option to remove BBC America from my cable package over this I absolutely would. There is no other show besides Game of Thrones that I would be THIS PISSED about getting cancelled. BBC slit its throat itself when they decided to put it in the same timeslot as Breaking Bad! Most channels would at least give it a chance on another night, in a different timeslot, SOMETHING! Tom Weston-Jones was absolutely mind blowing, the whole cast was! The writing, the production... as someone else said, you really felt that you were in 1860s Five Points. I know the writers and producers are shopping around a movie to wrap things up and I really hope they are able to. BURN IN HELL, BBC.

Bub- Interesting that you took the time to even post an nasty comment about the Save Copper campaign, and assume that we don't have lives outside of the show. We all do. Each of us has full lives with families and friends, and careers. We just are trying to do something nice and save a show that so many fans loved so much. Haven't you ever had something you enjoyed enough to fight for in life? So maybe you need to 'get a life' if you took time to comment about ours. At least our campaign is positive and we are taking action, instead of pot shots at someone.

BBC went about cancelling Copper in a horrible way. They ended it with a horrific cliffhanger, because even the writers didn’t know there wasn’t going to be a season 3. BBC committed an injustice on its viewers.

Wow, how pathetic is your life if you not only waste time watching TV, but also start a letter/online campaign to save a tv show? If you are actually writing letter to try and save ANY show, I'd suggest you start putting that effort into getting a life.

I am totally shocked by this decision! What a great show this is with a brilliant cast and fantastic storyline's. Please re-think this silly decision which is so unusual for the BBC.
