Another very bad call for A&E, LWS is much more relevant than the collection of CSIs, and as great as The Wire. A&E is off their game and should hire someone with better knowledge of the viewing market. I'm bored with most TV.

This show was just another rehash of every other eighties Cop-show cliche ...GOOD RIDDANCE

Dissapointed that such an avant garde show is cancelled. Low Winter SUn had the kind of acting and differentiation that makes a cop series interesting. The Detroit backup created the ambiance, the acting was terrific. So now we have to watch Blue Bloods and sit through those Sunday family dinners.

I thoroughly enjoyed this taut, thoughtful drama so its cancellation really sucks! If people want namby pamby, they should watch one of the mindless channels and leave cable to those of us with an appreciation of shows like this. Shame on you AMC!

Just my luck! I really got to appreciate this off center show. What's happening with The Killing? AMC the station that gave us Breaking Bad, Mad Men is now the Duck Dynasty channel. Wow!

I should mention that the show was thoroughly gloomy and depressing.

it was remake of the british show from 2004, in which mark strong played the same character. but it was only 3 hours long over two nights. this just went on and on and there was no one redeemable in it. characterwise. it was scumbag city. which is hard to take for ten hours!. the shield did good even though he was a monster. so the show lasted many seasons. this is a lesson to networks , although I watched it all. It was not a good show, because no one wants to watch a longer series , as opposed to the mini series it came from about all bad people. it's just grinding.

I love Lennie James! I'm hoping that he returns to 'The Walking Dead', his character is still alive in the comics after all! He's such a great actor!

I could not think of a single reason to recommend this show to anyone. Moving on!

Thank you AMC. This was painful to watch. I can now bring myself do delete the rest of the episodes off my DVR
