The stand-up comedy competition starts back up in May.

NBC announced today that Last Comic Standing will premiere its eighth season on Thursday, May 22, 2014. It has been four years since the stand-up comedy competition last crowned a victor in the summer of 2010.
For the re-launch, a new panel of judges will make their debut including Roseanne Barr, Keenan Ivory Wayans, and Russell Peters. Some format changes are in store as well, such as the audition round now being by invitation only.

Roseanne Barr as a judge? Ugh! They ARE desperate! I won't be watching; her cackle gives me indigestion. :-/

I enjoyed this show in its first couple of seasons. But then Gabriel Iglesias was on and I thought, "Aren't you already famous? What are you doing here?" This show should be for struggling comics, going on stage every night looking to be discovered.

Pretty solid cast... Love Russel Peters!
Well, now that I think of it... Rosanne and Waynes might of been a little hard-up for work..
Peters is at lease making a mint.. He is one of the top grossing comics, along with Louie.
