Fox will not continue with the new comedy.
May 7, 2014
Fox has cancelled Dads after its first season. The freshman comedy starred Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi, and was executive-produced by Seth MacFarlane.
The series was plagued with low ratings over the course of its run. Its original 22-episode order was trimmed down to 18 last December, which was an early indicator that the network would not continue with the show.

Those of us with a sense of humor will miss this show. Thank God for all the networks renewing 147 dancing/racing/singing/inbred shows for us to avoid like the plague.

Sad, really liked this show. It was funny. There arent all that many 30 minute sitcoms sticking around these days. Do that may people really watch master chef jr?!

Fox doesn't know good shows. This is sad. But renew American Idol instead. Really.

Absolutely agree with this cancellation, I tried for the first six episodes and gave up after that!
The writing was terrible and the delivery of the lines in the show were a bigger joke than the actual jokes!
The only Fox cancellation that makes any sense this season so far. (Looking forward to Gotham this fall but hey it's Fox so enjoy it will I can I suppose....)

Nooooo! Love this show, if they were going to cancel then why let it end with a cliffhanger?! I hate FOX!!

I'm no prude and enjoy a good belly laugh at a dirty joke or snigger at a smutty innuendo but this show was just not funny at all. I am very surprised some of the actors even accepted parts in the show given their respective bodies of work.
I can only categorise dads as lame, un-funny and pretty much Neanderthal in it's concept of humour.
Good riddance!

It was funny, but yeah, it was a garbage.

Fox should go to an all reality schedule. All their reality show seem to get picked up every year. maybe a all Gordon Ramsay schedule would work. he does have at least 5 FOX shows.

I love Seth Green, and it's a shame this comedy didn't work out. I am not surprised this got cancelled, but I think with some better writing this show would have had better potential.
