ABC has renewed Resurrection for a second season. The freshman drama, which premiered mid-season for a limited eight-episode run, was a hit out of the gate. The series drew a 3.8 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic for its premiere, besting all other shows that night.
While its ratings have tapered off in recent airings, its viewership remained strong enough for the network to pick it up for another season. No details have been announced as to whether ABC will expand the episode order for Season 2.
UPDATE: Season 2 of Resurrection will premiere on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 9:00pm.

So glad ABC gave this show the time to develop that many new shows don't get from the network gods. It will be interesting to see where it goes next season.

Wow! Granted, the show is starting to get really good, but I'm impressed it survived despite a very slow start.

this show is borderline for me, I could give or take it, but want to see what is going to happen. I hope it keeps my attention!
