The sci-fi drama will end after one season.
May 9, 2014
NBC has cancelled Believe after one season. The freshman drama premiered in March but failed to attract viewers in its Sunday night time slot.
Nine of the show's 13 episodes have aired thus far, and it appears the remaining four will air as scheduled. The finale is currently scheduled for June 1.

It just goes to show you the interests people have and the meaningless garbage that individuals are willing to subject themselves to. There are numerous reality shows depicting the lives of every day people willing to get paid to film their love lives, family drama, lack of values, flaunting of money and wasteful spending. Then there is the rest if us that choose shows like "Believe" who look forward to the new episodes each week with an actual story line. It saddens me to think that reality shows, as fake and scripted as they are, will continue to saturate our televisions and squeeze out shows that actually force you to use your brain. I would be interested to see how CBS, NBC, ABC or the CW base their decisions and who's televisions they monitor for their ratings. Apparently mine was not one of the votes counting towards keeping Believe for another season. :( Very bad choice but I'm sure Honey BooBoo, Housewives of what ever rich county, or the Kardashians will fill the empty slot.

The show had a really positive vibe, which is what television really needs. I thought the finally was a pretty good wrap up that felt like a new beginning. It's ashame they canceled the show.

Should have been put to bed. The story was a bit pointless. The acting was decent, but bad script. Didn't find myself caring where it was going, and I stopped watching.

I agree with all the comments, Believe has good writing, good actors and a good feeling - I think it is a mistake after only one season.

I am very disappointed that NBC cancelled this show. We looked forward each week to a new episode. I liked the setting, the script was tight, the storylines realistic (for sci-fi), the cast was great, especially "Bo" and "Tate", and the interaction of the characters very natural. I hate to break the news to my wife, since we watched together.

When I find out this show was cancelled my Sunday nights are now over finally had a show I could relate to. I'm a single father with a daughter, the clips with Bo and Tate were wonderful. So I give 5 stars to the writers and actors. This sucks my daughter and I can't watch our show on Sundays anymore.
