The reality series gets the axe after four episodes.
June 12, 2014
It is being reported that FOX has cancelled I Wanna Marry Harry, pulling the plug after just four episodes. The freshman reality series premiered last month but failed to garner significant viewership.
The network has removed the show from its schedule effective immediately, with the remaining episodes planned for release on Fox.com and on demand. Beginning next Tuesday, repeat comedy airings will fill its time slot.

I didn't watch this show, wasn't crazy about the premise but I think I would be one ticked off woman if I spent my time vying for the attention of Prince Harry only to find out at the end if I was the lucky one he chose that he was an imposter. I am surprised there were no lawsuits over that. I am sure the contract must have had small print to protect them but still... I am not surprised it got the axe. Well, I take that back. I am surprised a little. The networks are notorious for axing good unique tv shows and keeping all the "reality" garbage.

I agree with you John. I wonder how well it's ratings are worldwide (depending on the show these should be taken into consideration - not reality) as it's showing in the UK with a few days delay I think. TV now is just reality shows one after the other.
I don't know about the US (you may have enough of your own) but in the UK we show reality TV from Australia & South Africa (cookery shows mostly). This is before you take into consideration we also show all the storage hunter, fish tank, housewives of..., etc etc shows.

I'm sure this was drivel, but to play Devil's advocate, it's summer. What are you going to replace it with, infomercials for the Precision Induction Cooktop? Why not just let it play out? I hate TV nowadays...
