I wasn't surprised. It was the writing in my opinion, the intrigue was taken away from Danny and Lacey. They actually have a natural chemistry/attraction which made them unique and fitted for the role. Good casting there. As soon as the "typical" started to emerge with increasing Jo's presence with Danny and diminishing Lacey's connection to Danny. I couldn't agree more to pull the show. I believe many started changing the channel. In my opinion, Jo was more like a sister to Danny not a love interest. Although Lacey and Danny were also childhood friends, Lacey had evolved into a new identity. Danny had as well in a sense so it fitted.
Also the show had too many "high schoolers" within murder mysteries and murderous plots and pasts. While it was edgy and probably a calculated risk, the movement of the plot moved from the typical high school reality. Don't get me wrong, I think the show was great, up to a point, but honestly speaking, had I watched this during its prime, I would have turned the channel more often than not, and that could be what happened.
It was also as if they just brought the white girl to the forefront as the pleasure poured in over the black girl and white guy attraction that fitted so well but during that era of TV, giving a black girl the more prominent role and having her share it with a white guy was not the norm. It really does matter who writes the show.

It's stupid how thy cancelled the show! A lot of other stupid shows are still on? Why don't they give the show another chance with another season and do more commercials so not people will see it!

Really upset that this was cancelled, but they keep silly stuff like Baby Daddy! Am not liking ABC family right now

I saw this coming. I loved this show but I had heard news of it getting cancelled and it just wasn't official yet.
I'm so mad though it was a really good show.
Out of everything else on ABC family, it's sad that they chose this show over young and hungry and baby daddy

Even though a few shows I didn't mind see go away it would be nice if they got a chance. I agree with almost all of these post so enough said...

I hate ABC Family. They still have Pretty Little Liars, and Switched at Birth. If they cancel those shows, that's it for me. No more ABC Family in my house.

I don't watch this channel much because I will start a show and then get bored with it. Twisted was one show I loved and never bored me. I can't say how disappointed I am that it is cancelled!!! Like other posters, I will not watch anything on this channel because I don't want to waste time watching omly to have it cancelled. I cannot believe the shows that are kept around while the good ones go bye bye!!
