No Season 2 for the new summer drama.

Fox has cancelled Gang Related after one season. The freshman drama premiered in May for a 13-episode run but failed to draw high enough ratings for the network to renew the series despite amassing a loyal following.
It is being reported that Fox had considered renewing the show as recently as last month for an eventual move to its fall schedule. The network went as far as extending the options on key cast members, but ultimately could not find space for it on its schedule.

There are so many awful shows out there and they cancel a good one. Great job tv executives!

Another quality show dumped because the ratings were poor with younger viewers, if its not some garbage song and dance show the 16-25 year olds don't tune in. Um news flash for the TV big shots, its the older viewers 30 and up that watch TV in the evening after working all day. They need to split the age demographic for ratings and assign the correct time slots for the more mature type shows. This is why cable and Netflix's are kicking the TV networks but. Here are some of my favorite shows that have been cancelled in the last two years - I am 45 years old. LONGMIRE,VEGAS,THE GLADES,GOLDEN BOY,MOB DOCTOR,RULES OF ENGAGMENT,INTELLIGENCE,ALMOST HUMAN,LEVERAGE,CHICAGO CODE,COMMON LAW.

This is rotten. That's why I am moving to more independent providers like Netflix. I can't tell you how many people I know who watch it and I hungrily waited for the next episodes.
They need to bring this back, plus it was great for a varied audience including Latinos

Really??!! Though this show reminded me of a Jack Nicholson/Matt Damon movie, it had me waiting for each new episode. I'm glad I recorded them all which I share with family members

I think this show has potential. Canceling this show seems to be so wrong. That my opinion.

Its sucks this show got cancelled. My wife and I watched Gang Related everyday week. It has a great plot and looked like it would be around for a while. Very Disappointing!!!

Sorry, but I did not like this series attempting to put something that almost resembled a moral fiber in some of these criminal elements. Including the agent who was playing the double agent.
Understand folks, this drug underworld is filled with what can only just barely be viewed as human. I do not like Hollyweird attempting to breath honor, morality, and compassion into this trash. If you want to have a show like this, show just how low life these piles of excretion truly are.
