No Season 2 for the new summer drama.
September 2, 2014
Fox has cancelled Gang Related after one season. The freshman drama premiered in May for a 13-episode run but failed to draw high enough ratings for the network to renew the series despite amassing a loyal following.
It is being reported that Fox had considered renewing the show as recently as last month for an eventual move to its fall schedule. The network went as far as extending the options on key cast members, but ultimately could not find space for it on its schedule.

I am so sad this show was cancelled. I hate when the networks cancels a show after one season . Maybe i should start watching reality tv it seems to be the only thing on tv that lasts

I watched every episode and enjoyed them all. The storyline was good and made you want to watch the next episode. I'm surprised to see this cancelled. Hoping you bring it back. Most people don't give new shows a chance because they're afraid it will be cancelled too soon.

Fox is the worst with CBS close second - cancel shows that are really interesting and leave the junk - wake up - I will not be tuning into any new shows on FOX or CBS!!!!

It's been a week. Get over it. And all you idiots who are saying you don't even watch a show until it had a few seasons under its belt are a big part of the reason shows are cancelled for low viewership. I'm gonna show the next works that I support their new shows by waiting three years to start watching them on the Internet. Idiots.

I'm extremely disappointed to hear that Fox has cancelled Gang Related. It was a really well-written, gritty drama that I very much looked forward to every week. Maybe if enough people protest, Fox will come to their senses and bring this show back. If not, maybe another, forward thinking network will pick it up. Please!!!!

This was one of the best new shows. And certainly better than anything Fox has put out in a while. 24 was a disaster. 2 and half men is a joke and not in a good way. Glee is retarded. Doesn't Fox understand that in this day and age, a show's popularity cannot be judged by how many people tune in to watch the show. Most of us rather stream the show from the net so a show might not seem popular in the network's eyes but it may be very popular. Don't forget this is the same Fox morons that cancelled Family Guy years ago, and same with that nice cop drama Fastlane

Im so pissed at Fox for yet again yanking the rug out from under me. God, I wish I could afford to buy that station and kick all those crappy decision making bums out of there. Id bring this show back AND Almost Human and probably a few others they canceled way to early and give them a guaranteed two year contract with the option to re-evaluate after that based on fan feed back. As a matter of fact, if ALL channels adopted this way of doing business, ratings would be up across the board because there would be no need to not watch a show until its at least had a couple of seasons under its belt. And there are ALOT of people doing that right now.

Fox tv executives: YOU ARE MORONS!Keep cancelling good shows and keeping trash tv that sucks!! I'm sick of rich snobs getting renewed over and over and decent series not even given a chance. In a DVR world people don't find out about shows as easily before and need time to hear about them or stumble upon them. No show should get less than two seasons ing you want big numbers....idiot execs..
