The arm wrestling reality series will return.
September 11, 2014
AMC announced today that Game of Arms has been renewed for a second season. The freshman reality series, which takes a close look at the competitive world of arm wrestling, averaged 747,000 viewers over its first 10 episodes in live+7 viewing. Its premiere episode in February garnered the network's highest numbers for a weeknight original series premiere with 1 million viewers.
AMC has ordered another 10 episodes for Season 2, though no return time frame has been announced as of yet.

The people entertained by this, the people sustaining the ratings... This is why we can't have nice things.

I can NOT believe this channel cancelled Longmire and renewed this show! I do watch this show but in no way does it compete with longmire.

The show actually makes no sense. A bunch of blue collar guys travel literally across the country to arm wrestle...for a grand prize of 1000 dollars to split 5 ways. HUH? How is that economically viable? I guess AMC pays them something but it still seems like a laughably small amount of money to go cross country and possibly get your arm ripped to shreds. Whatever. Like somebody else said, it's cheap to make so they keep making them.

As long as they dont touch my ZOMBIES. WD
I can deal with it.
Im sure this decision will help WD stay on. One episode of wd probably cost 2 seasons of Arms.

YES! AMC has finally found a show that will pick up the audience that they otherwise would have lost with the end of MAD MEN. (^_^)
Seriously, an arm wrestling reality show from the network that brought us Breaking Bad? Is there anyone up there minding the store?
