The new drama's future is in doubt.
November 26, 2014
It is being reported that FOX will be pulling Red Band Society from its schedule after the show's upcoming tenth episode. That will leave three of its already-produced 13 episodes unaired, with their future status in question.
The network has also declined to pick up a full season of the freshman drama, halting its production after the initial order completed filming. Low ratings have plagued the series since its September debut, making its prospects for a second season return slim.
As it stands, the December 3 episode is the last one currently on the FOX schedule.

First The Goldbergs (at least it got a movie), Mary Tyler Moore, The Pitts, Homeboy in Outer Space, Baby Bob, Taxi, and Now this. Why can't Fox leave my shows alone. Next fox is gonna pull Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead!

Low ratings? Doesn't that mean that nobody watched it? Lets not blame Fox for us not watching it. If the creators would have made it better it would have been watched. This is the fault of RBS not Fox. Fox moving it, not advertising, basically making it impossible to watch would be there fault, but they did none of these. The creators? Joe is right. Lame plot and lame stories killed it. NOT FOX.

¡Porque! One of Fox's best new shows! Differed greatly from the typical shows out there. Really was unique. Bad move Fox.

I guess if there were women and girls being raped, stalked or murdered the show would get to stay on the air. Why do the shows that are thought provoking and interesting always get cancelled - The Newsroom, White Collar and Red Band Society just to name a few.

I love this show, but I have to DVR it because it is up against my other favorite show on Wed night "Criminal Minds". Maybe they should move the time slot instead of cancelling it!

Well... the latest episode just aired. It was packaged as the "Fall Finale". Soooo it is not 100% dead, as of yet.

This show should have been a CW show. A teen drama just doesn't fit on fox. Decent but a little childish for adult viewers.

All of the networks are doing the same thing get people to watch all these new shows that are on or coming on in the future then they just cancel them midseason or after a season finale cliffhanger like Lifetime did with Witches of East End. I probably won't bother with anything new unless if i DVR it and binge watch if it last past 5 or 6 episodes. Networks suck and they just want everyone to watch reality shows that suck too!!

So tired of trying to watch new shows and then they get cancelled. I am not a big fan of reality tv and that is what people seem to be watching. Guess I will just go back to the cable channels and start watching movies or reruns of shows that already exist
