The freshman series gets an 8-part sequel.
December 16, 2014
Starz announced today that The Missing has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama, which was recently nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Miniseries category, still has three episodes remaining in its eight-part first installment, which concludes January 10.
Another eight episodes have been ordered for the show's next season, which will again be written by Harry & Jack Williams. The story will include a new case, characters, and location, but like Season 1 will again unfold over two time frames.

cassandra just spoiled the series for me and others. :( What is the policy on spoilers for this site? She just said what did/didn't happen at the end of season 1 now the entire season is kind of ruined. I only came here to see what the general opinion was on the series and then I get a freaking spoiler :(

I like this show - but I know what we're seeing has been edited. When they show the "previously on The MIssing" I'm like WHEN did that happen?! WHo is that person?! Etc etc.
