It is being reported that Spike TV has renewed Lip Sync Battle for a second season. The freshman series, which features celebrities going head-to-head in lip syncing showdowns, is off to a strong start since premiering earlier this month. Its first episode delivered a record 2.2 million viewers for the cable network, which made it the most-watched non-scripted series premiere in Spike's history.
Season 2 of Lip Sync Battle is scheduled to return in 2016 with 20 new episodes.

This is great. I just hope they get rid of Chrissy Tiegan next season. She is so annoying and irrelevant on the show.

It was fun watching The Rock lip sync Taylor Swift. Beyond that I don't see this show having a real future. Maybe 3 seasons tops, if they are lucky to get that far. It will get stale fast.
