The drama will not return for Season 3.
May 7, 2015
ABC has cancelled Resurrection, opting not to continue with a third season of the sophomore drama. The show's finale aired back in January, ending its season earlier than most because of a lower episode count.
Resurrection got its start as a midseason replacement with a limited run of eight episodes early last year. After a reasonably strong showing, the network renewed it with a regular spot on the fall schedule and increased its episode count to 13. Unfortunately ratings took a hit when it returned, falling to less than half of the numbers it was drawing during Season 1.

I really liked this show and now we'll never know what was going on. Were they aliens? Etc. :-(

I agree with Scott. Season 1 was so much better than season 2. I was ok with how it ended. Just was not as good to me. That's been happening with a lot of shows though (Rogue, Americans).

Was a good show that I enjoyed. However, I was really wondering how they would be able to continue it with the story being what it was. Enjoyed it while it lasted, just wish networks would take quality over quantity.

Well another good show cancelled. Networks should stop moving shows around so much and give them more of a chance-thanks again Disney-ABC

I watched both seasons thinking there was a chance for the show to improve. Not horrible, but I won't miss it.

Can't say I'm real shocked. I thought the show had promise in the beginning but as it ran through it's 2nd season I began to think it wouldn't make it to a 3rd season.
