No Season 2 for the crime drama.
May 8, 2015
CBS has cancelled Battle Creek after one season. The comedic crime drama premiered in March as a midseason replacement but faltered in the ratings, starting low and slipping further during the course of its run. The show still has four episodes remaining before calling it quits for good.

Glad it's gone. I wanted to gauge my eyes out to relieve the boredom.

I liked this show. It wasn't the same old 'who dunnit.'The characters were quirky and different, made for a more interesting program. I also liked the setting,
not New York or LA, that added a different interest to it.

I was just getting to know the characters. It is a fun show. I really hope one of the satellite channels picks up this show. Why is it the well written and acted shows are cancelled, but the mindless sit-coms go on?

Great show! Great cast! Sad that CBS won't give it a second season.

Sorry to hear this fell victim to network sabotage. You can't say a show starts at 10 and have it not start until 10:35 some nights. People who work can't stay up and don't know to set the DVR differently.

Another good show gone. Do the network EVER consider that shows that start and air during playoffs (March Madness, NHL & NBA playoffs) don't get as many viewers until said seasons are done? I think this show could have found an audience if given more time, too bad it wasn't given a chance.

Once again, a good show with good stories and it's blown out the door. What a shame.
