The new thriller gets the axe.
May 8, 2015
CBS has made it official and cancelled Stalker after one season. The psychological thriller from creator Kevin Williamson got off to a solid start as part of the network's fall lineup, earning a full-season pickup after four episodes. Ratings started to slip over the months, though, and CBS pulled the show from its schedule in February with three episodes remaining. Stalker returned in late April to burn off its final episodes. The series finale will air May 18.

I almost feel that all the major networks have bought shares in Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hulu, since they seem to be driving people to them with their illogical and tasteless cancelations. They seem to want nothing but tired remakes (The Odd Couple) or "reality tv" (Shark Tank, Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor), all of which are as entertaining as a root canal

This show should not have been cancelled. The cast was good and the plot lines were interesting, able to be carried across several episodes as well as being able to resolve the single episode stories in a meaningful way. The mood in most of these shows is suspenseful and draws the viewer in. CBS needs to reconsider their decision about cancellation. I hate recommending other series but CSI:Cyber would be a better in the bin than Stalker. Shame if this one goes.

I am so disappointed that Stalker was cancelled. I loved that show! I'm very hesitant to even start watching a new show anymore because as soon as I start getting interested in a show, the network cancels it.

Oh, please. Stop all your infernal moaning and groaning.
So your show was canceled. That's life, deal with it.
Think of it as watching a movie and half way through you take a bathroom break. When you return, you find your tv in a million pieces because a piece of space junk has crashed through your living room window and targeted your tv set for destruction.
So you're disappointed at missing the end of the movie. That's life, deal with it.
Above all, don't follow the example of the kid who committed suicide because his favorite show was canceled.

UNBELIEVABLE, CBS cancels STALKER and renews two (in my estimation) losers Cyber and Odd Couple. With STALKER I had a reason to watch CBS, not any more.

I really hope another network picks up this show. I thought the show had a great cast and a great storyline. If the show is picked up by anyone it will have for sure viewers.

Very Disappointed in this show being cancelled, thriller drama that went to another level , different from everything else on network TV , good acting and plot was really good. FOX cancelled "Gang Related" after an excellent 1st season and it was a mistake, now CBS axes "Stalker" after a really good season minus finale (kind of weak). Dylan McDermott has bad luck with landing a successful series that has him going longer than one season.

Think I've had enough of the major networks. Cancel all the good shows and leave us with tired shows that should have been cancelled long ago or reality crap. So frustrating.
