The new comedy will not return for Season 2.

NBC has cancelled One Big Happy after its first season. Executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, the freshman comedy premiered as a midseason replacement in March but came up short in the ratings department, failing to make an impact over its short six-episode run.

That sucks that they canceled it. Liz is totally hot!! The show was good but could've used less Lesbian clichés. I would've kept watching had they made more.

My friends joke that whenever I like a new show, it gets cancelled.
Happened again.
They cancel these awesome shows and leave crap like Big bang and Survivor and Bob's Burgers on.
But cancel all the shows I like.

Thank for nbc cancelling the show it was stupid garbage and ellen didnt even deserve her own show in the first place so why was this created again?

The network never really tried with this one. they only did it for Ellen. A 6 episode order, with a hiatus after 3 episodes and they wondered why it didn't have an audience when they finished the final 3 episodes.

One of the stupidest shows my husband and I have ever seen. Filled with cliches and thoroughly predictable. And the laugh track was so obvious and forced it was hard to concentrate on anything else. Glad it's gone.

Yep I'm clearly never allowed to laugh! What a great show! Cheesy, but funny and special!
