Netflix's latest original drama will continue.

Netflix announced today that Narcos has been renewed for a second season. The streaming service broke the news this morning on their Twitter account with 10 second clip confirming the pickup.
The freshman drama, which premiered last week, is the latest Netflix original series to be renewed. Narcos joins a growing list of successful Netflix shows, which collectively continue to make the streaming service a popular destination for high-quality original content.

Kudos to the writers at Netflix for NOT caving in to the folks that are unaware that the country actually IS a melting pot of cultures in more than just name only and portraying the events as they actually occurred in the manner it happened in the language spoken by the characters it happened to. Art imitates life everywhere. Subtitles bothering? Don't watch the show change the channel Death Valley Days is on your channel

I disagree with Ed Gordon, there isn't too many subtitles. Them speaking Spanish makes the show truly authentic and writers havnt dumbed down the show for an American audience. If reading is too hard for you, don't watch the show

Damn good show! A little too many sub titles though. Lets just do this one like they always used to.... transition from Spanish (or whatever foreign language) to English, MID SENTENCE, to show that we are still supposed to pretend they are still speaking the foreign language. I mean, we get it, they're hispanic and in hispanic countries.

Love this show! Hope the show coninue long enough to eventually talk about Mexican cartels such as Public Enemy Numero Uno "El Chapo" and the notorious "Zetas" that are ex-Guatemalan Kaibiles.

This is a great show. I just knew from the 1st episode that it was a hit.
