After a long hiatus, Top of the Lake will be returning for a second season. The New Zealand-based drama was originally renewed last year by BBC, and now Sundance has confirmed that it has picked up Season 2 of the show for US audiences.

Elisabeth Moss is set to reprise her starring role, with the story set to resume four years after the events in Season 1. Look for Season 2 in 2017.
