Spike TV announced today that Ink Master has been renewed for a ninth season. With the show having just started Season 7 this month, today's early pickup ensures the long-running tattoo competition series will remain on the air well into next year.

Spike previously renewed Ink Master for Season 8 last October. Look for that season later this year in August. Season 9, which will consist of 15 episodes, will premiere in 2017.
