Hulu announced today that Casual has been renewed for a third season. The streaming service has ordered 13 new episodes of the sophomore dramedy - matching its Season 2 total - for a premiere in 2017.

Casual has remained a strong part of Hulu's original programming slate, garnering more critical praise early in its second season, which premiered earlier this month. The series was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award this past year in the "Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy" category.
