@Flow... the show WAS about aliens... because without that aspect it was a really typical, run-of-the-mill, boring, cop drama -- which is why the show was so bad. The alien aspect seemed like a complete afterthought without any budget for the aliens. It's as if they shot a horrible cop drama, then decided to add some clicking later and reshoot a couple chase scenes so actors could haphazardly appear to run across tree branches and the like. I'm just amazed junk like this actually makes it to television.

That sucks. I'd have like to have seen a second season. But I'd guess many like @Pope missed the point. The show wasn't about aliens. It was about an agent and an agency dealing with an alien threat. The storylines were among those people and the one alien who works with them.
I do agree that the clicking was weak. Especially since it was also used as "tension setting" sound effect and not just language. There was also too much gratuitous graphic violence.

I went farther I almost made it through the second episode.Very boring to me.

This show was terrible, one of the worst in a long line of BAD shows being put on TV these last 2 years.

they have messed up witley streibers idea typical tv and ruined it, u could see this wouldnt survive a series 2..

Awwwww, dang I just bought the first season on my xbox an I'm downloading it.
Pope I thought it was cause I was tired I couldn't remember watching the first ten or fifteen minutes and fell asleep while watching it cause I was bored. I agree with you. I new I should of got the colony instead.

It took me the entire season to get into, but I hoped they would get a second season to grow and get better. One season is never enough to judge a new series.

Horrible show... weakest "aliens" I've ever seen... all they did was click (stolen from the Strain) and do some ungraceful, clumsy, wire-work. Never made it past the first episode.
