The period drama will be shopped elsewhere.

It is being reported that Good Girls Revolt has been cancelled by Amazon after just one season. The freshman drama had just recently debuted, with its 10-episode first season releasing in late October. Reviews were generally positive, and word is the show was one of the streaming service's bigger draws among female viewers.
It is unclear why Amazon has declined to continue with further seasons of Good Girls Revolt, but word is that Sony Pictures Television, which produces the series, will be shopping it around in hopes of finding it a new home elsewhere.
Set during the cultural revolution that occurred in the 1960s, Good Girls Revolt follows group of young female researchers at a news magazine whose request to be treated fairly sparks the start of changes that upend lives, careers, and friendships.

Can't be mad at Amazon. If the subsctibers don't stream it then its gotta go so funds can go to a series people actually watch. You'd think with there viewer vote for pilot pickups this would happen less bug it doesn't. One episode isn't enough, shows can change a lot halfway through a season. Attracting or running of viewers. Sorry for your loss if your a fan but I hope they make something way better and long lasting instead.

The show sucked, so nobody should be surprised that Amazon did this.

I hope Hulu or Netflix snatch it up because it was excellent. It's rare to get a view of history from a different perspective and this one just hadn't been done. It's Amazon's loss.
