Amazon Studios announced today that Mozart in the Jungle has been renewed for a fourth season. The award-winning comedic drama, which premiered in early 2014, was one of the first originals on the streaming service to garner wide critical acclaim, helping pave the way for its growing slate of original series.
Based on the 2005 memoir of the same name by oboist Blair Tindall, Mozart in the Jungle takes a look behind the scenes at a New York symphony, where what goes on behind the curtain can be just as captivating as what happens on stage.
Look for Season 4 of Mozart in the Jungle to premiere later this year.

At first, the idea of a show about the New York Symphony Orchestra didn't sound very interesting to me. Not so! The clever scripts, superb acting by the main cast and ongoing character development make this a very entertaining half hour.
