NBC has released their schedule for the summer of 2017 and in doing so confirmed that Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge will be returning for a second season. The series garnered respectable ratings over the course of its eight-episode run last summer.

Inspired by Spartan Race, the competition series raises the bar on demanding obstacle course races. Groups of friends, family members, or co-workers are tasked with working together in a race across specially designed Spartan courses that test their endurance and determination.

Season 2 of Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge premieres on Monday, June 12 at 10:00pm.
