The comedy ends after three seasons.
April 4, 2017
It is being reported that FXX will not be continuing with Man Seeking Woman, opting to cancel the series after its recently-concluded third season. Throughout its run the show has garnered its share of critical praise but ultimately did not continue to attract enough of an audience for the network to justify ordering Season 4.
Based on Simon Rich's book of short stories, "The Last Girlfriend on Earth," Man Seeking Woman took a sweet - and absurd - look at the surreal life-and-death stakes of dating, following a naïve 20-something's uncompromising quest for love.

Pope, I don't think you understand how tv cancellations and renewals tend to work. First, 2 Broke Girls is on CBS. Man Seeking Woman was on FXX. Two totally different networks. But more importantly, Two Broke Girls hasn't stayed on the air because of network fears of being politically incorrect or sexist. It's stayed on the air because it's gotten consistently strong ratings. Man Seeking Woman hasn't.
I'm not saying that Two Broke Girls is a good show because it's awful and I'm very bummed that Man Seeking Woman was cancelled. But this entirely has to do with ratings and nothing to do with content.

I have to disagree with all the good things other posters have said. It was a challenge watching this show. Hey what is there 500 channels I found other shows to watch.

This was such an entertaining show, sad to here the news, thought we would get at least 1 more season out of this.

But 2 Broke Girls is explaining to people who aren't funny that they can somehow make up for it by just shouting the punchlines at the top of their voices.

... but.. but 1 Broke Girls is a "breakthrough" show... It shows female entrepreneurs!!! Never mind that it's not funny.... and the writing is pretty atrocious at times, squeezing in as many "dick" jokes as possible... they can't cancel it or they may appear "politically incorrect" or "sexist". Lesson here... write a horrible show... but add an element no other show has ever had to make the old white guys in charge of the network feel obligated to leave it on the air :)

Funny at times and just stupid at other times. If it wasn't for Katie Findlay I would not have watched season 3.

Sad to lose this show. Hopefully all 3 seasons show up on Netflix so I can rewatch the whole series over!

It wasn't already? They made it seem that way with the season finale.

I really liked season 1.. season 2 was okay, not as good though. And I found season 3 kind of dreadful. They tried to pull off the same over-the-top stuff based on a relationship but it wasn't as good. They should have stuck with a man SEEKING a woman rather than a a man settling down with a woman. That's where it fell apart.
