The singing competition will return for Season 2.

Fox announced today that The Four: Battle For Stardom has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes just hours ahead of tonight's first-season finale, where the singing competition will crown its first-ever champion.
Since its premiere earlier this year, the new series has been a solid performer for Fox on Thursday nights in the 8:00pm time slot. While not quite as formidable as its big-name scripted competition such as The Big Bang Theory and Grey's Anatomy, its ratings have made it the network's top new reality series debut in a number of years.
The Four is a vocal competition that starts out with four pre-selected finalists as chosen by producers during earlier auditions. Each week they fight to keep their spot, as hungry challengers perform for a panel of judges and a live audience to earn their right to battle it out for one of the spots.
Look for Season 2 of The Four to premiere as early as this summer.

How was this renewed? I couldnt even make it through an entire episode before i was completely fed up with the crap. P"diddy" puff-whatever-he-goes-by-now and Fergie are two of the most irritating personalities to me. im gonna just assume the ratings are due to Kardashian syndrome.. when something is just such a train wreck you cant stop watching.

Completely disagree! My wife and I loved it the talent was some of the best I’ve ever seen on a singing show and the playoff between Diddy and Khaled each week is awesome and makes for good tv! Also a great concept! So glad this show got renewed and the competition will just keep getting stronger:) THANK YOU FOX!

Can we move all the reality shows to one or two cable channels and free up the regular network for good shows! Sick of Reality Shows!

This show sucks, big time!! The judges...OMG, Diddy does nothing but act like an egotistical diva, DJ Khaled just uses an air horn and throws his arms around, Meghan Trainor cries all the time, and Charlie Walk just plain sucks! Even Fergie looks and sounds stupid... making those giant arm circles and yelling like something amazing just happened! There's nothing good or note worthy coming from this show. Terrible!

Well. people like to watch people sing I guess. It could be worse. Not that I have watched a whole episode.
