No Season 2 for the cannabis comedy.
February 14, 2018
It is being reported that Netflix is passing on a second season of Disjointed. The cancellation comes after a first season that received decidedly below-average reviews from both audiences and critics.
Co-created by Chuck Lorre, the pot-themed comedy released its first 10 episodes last fall followed by 10 more earlier this year. The show's total of 20 episodes gives it the highest episode count for one season of any other comedy on the streaming service.
Disjointed stars Kathy Bates as a longtime cannabis user, activist, and lawyer for the cause. With help from some friends and her business-minded son, she works to turn her local dispensary into a big-box company.

A tv show for those whose brains are fried. And it couldn't even do that right.

I really, really wanted to like this show. Loved the concept but it was so badly executed I could barely make it through 3 episodes. Usually I love Kathy Bates, but her considerable talent was being shamefully wasted on this show.

Watched several episodes . The show was terrible . Bad acting , bad punchlines . I’ve seen better acting in 2 broke girls . Just awful

For you posters talking about glorifying drug use, do you complain about when people smoke in TV shows and Movies? Really? This is 2018. It's not like they have people with needles sticking out of their arms. While the show was horrible, there is nothing wrong with Marijuana especially since opiates, tobacco and alcohol are legal as well, but You aren't saying anything about that are you?

I agree with what someone else said. Enough shows glorifying drugs, drug use, breaking the law, etc..

Glad this was cancelled - there is so much good stuff on Netflix we don't need another program glorifying drugs, drug users, drug pushers and the like

Kind of unfortunate. I was actually enjoying this show. Probably not one of my top ten, but I thought it was as very entertaining. The only thing I think should have been removed was Tae Kwon Doug. He was just too much. I see a lot of folks dumping on Dank and Dabby, but I think they were pretty hilarious. Almost stole the show at times. Oh well. I look forward to Kathy Bates next ventue.

It was created by Chuck Lorre. He creates comedy for the simple minded drones who don't know what comedy is. Of course this show sucked.

the dank and dabby were what ruined it for me as well too much of them and they were real annoying and negative stereotype to the max
