ABC announced today that Child Support has been picked up for a second season. The prime time game show premiered earlier this year as a mid-season entry with a short six-episode run that performed well for the network.

Hosted by Fred Savage, this one-hour game show from Ricky Gervais gives adult contestants 10 questions to try and answer correctly in order to earn a top prize. If they are wrong at any point in time, contestants are given the chance to be saved by a group of five kids who have been asked the same question by Ricky Gervais.

It isn't clear when ABC plans to air Season 2 of Child Support, though another mid-season appearance appears likely during the 2018-2019 season.
