No Season 2 for the coming-of-age comedy.
April 6, 2018
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Everything Sucks! after just one season. The 90s coming-of-age comedy is the third cancellation of the year for the streaming giant. The other two - Disjointed and Lady Dynamite - were both comedies as well.
Taking place in 1996, Everything Sucks! follows two groups of misfits from the drama club and the A/V club as they face the ups and downs of teenage life during their freshman year of high school in the town of Boring, Oregon.
The series premiered back in February with a 10-episode run that ultimately garnered mixed reviews from both audiences and critics.

This is sad! Just finished watching the series last week and was really looking forward to seeing the character development continue in season 2. I think this was a bad decision on Netflix's end.

I was in middle school in 1996 so I really liked the feel of the show. I would have liked to see more.

The idea of the show was good but the story about young people and high school stories not that good. they should target story for people age 25 and more about the dating, marriage, broken during the 90s in comedy theme

Ugh! I loved it. It really helped me out, during a tough (and relatable) stretch...

Well.. avoiding the obvious..... it wasn't anything special. I mean, it was basically bland overall.. not bad, not good, just.. well.. there.
