No Season 4 for the Pete Holmes comedy.

There's sad news today for fans of HBO's Crashing, as the cable network has cancelled the comedy after three seasons. Creator and star Pete Holmes confirmed the cancellation on Twitter this afternoon with a post expressing his gratitude and thanks to those that worked on the show.
In the half-hour series, Holmes plays a semi-autobiographical version of himself - that is, a comedian named Pete, who after learning his wife has not been faithful to him, begins to re-evaluate his life while working in the New York comedy scene. This Sunday's episode will now serve as the series finale.
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that Crashing has not been picked up for a fourth season. I feel so grateful and so much joy that I got to make this wonderful show with my comedy hero @JuddApatow and the amazing cast, crew and writers. Gratitude and love. Heart emoji!

Good show, sad to see it that it will not be renewed. Just finished the season/series finale and at least was satisfied with how it ended (as opposed to many shows that don't get renewed).

I guarantee Judd Apatow's Twitter rants against comedy got this canned. Remember - real comedy has no limits as long as it's funny.

Probably got cancelled because of Dish customers not having HBO anymore. Which means lower ratings for the show.

I agree that it seemed that each season, as Pete loosened up, it got funnier. Shame.. should have kept it for at least 2 more seasons.

That sucks, I felt like the show was getting funnier and funnier, i've been really enjoying it alot lately, I had a feeling since I was liking it so much it was not gonna be coming back :(

it only took one Amy Schumer cameo to get it cancelled. This season, the show drafted away from its original premise and was heading into an obnoxious romantic drama. loved the show but it's not a surprise...it had a lot of potential...

That’s a real bummer. It’s not the best show on TV, but it still had a lot of heart and I enjoyed it.
